Itinerary

At the start of your Iceland Game of Thrones Tour you will be picked up from your hotel in Reykjavik.

Set off on a tour of the locations used by the HBO hit “Game of Thrones”. Take a walk in the footsteps of some of your favourite characters. This tour has been prepared with the help of an Icelandic actor who actually died violently in the show at the hands of the Wildlings.

Enjoy a 40 minute drive to Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was the backdrop for the White Walkers scenes. See the gorge of Thingvellir, where the European and American tectonic plates are slowly drifting apart, causing a massive crack in the earth's surface.

You will also stop at Iceland’s largest geothermal power stations on the shores of Lake Thingvallavatn. It is not a filming location, but the spectacular scenic beauty of the place makes it a site worth visiting.
